LCHF DIETS

Looking for information on low-carb high-fat (LCHF) diets?

All low-carb diets are not high in fat. Many use low-fat or moderate-fat protocols. How much fat you need to eat on a daily basis depends on how much body fat you have and which low-carb plan you are following.

I have separated the information on high-fat diets from those that are much lower in fat to make it easier for you to find the information you need quickly and easily. Here, you will find a variety of diets that use high-fat protocols.

Some of these diets are lower in protein than others, so make sure that you follow the rules of your chosen plan and try to avoid combining plans together. This technique will only confuse you if you don't have a strong understanding of what you're doing and why.

There are many LCHF plans to choose from:
  • Nutritional Ketosis, by Dr. Stephen Phinney
  • Eat Fat and Get Thin, by Barry Groves
  • The Ketogenic Diet, by Lyle McDonald (Keto Diet at Reddit)
  • Zero Carb, by Charles Washington
And many others. On this page, you'll find links to extensive guides, tips, and posts that try to clear up myths and misconceptions about each of the individual diets.

Not all LCHF diets are the same, so if you have any questions and need to contact me at the email address below, it will save both of us some time and effort if you let me know which low-carb diet you're following:
